It is subject to a number of restrictions. The Access Act contains six categories of restrictions on access. They concern information which affects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Intergovernmental relations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiations between public bodies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Economic affairs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The administration of justice and public safety;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative or political decisions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Auditing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If one or more of these restrictions apply to your request, the person responsible for providing access may, or in some cases must, refuse to grant you access to the document(s) you have requested in a written decision explaining your rights and options for contesting the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>LIMITED ACCESS<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The person responsible for the access may authorize you to obtain certain information while limiting or excluding certain sections.
