Due to heavy rains over the past few hours, the Rivière-Rouge Road has collapsed and is completely closed to traffic between #850 and #1071 until further notice. We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you informed of any developments.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF FLOOD RISKS?

When heavy rainfall is expected—especially during spring floods—local authorities are on high alert and will quickly update you on the situation. You can also take prompt action to protect your loved ones and your property.

Here’s what you can do to prepare:

  • Put together a home emergency kit with supplies for at least 3 days: https://www.quebec.ca/…/comment-se-preparer-a-la-maison.
  • Make sure your submersible pump is working properly;
  • If you have a generator: keep a supply of gasoline on hand and make sure it works;
  • Follow our Facebook page and website for the latest information and instructions.
