Fire Department
Our municipality has been operating a fire department since 1984.
The management, officers and firefighters, as well as the administrative assistant, put their expertise to work to ensure the safety of the population of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our fire department responds to an average of 160 calls per year, and must cover more than 329 square km of territory. To do this, its equipment is divided between three fire stations:
Fire Station 1
1754, Route 148, Calumet sector
Fire Station 2
319, Chemin Harrington, North sector
Fire Station 3
2708, Route 148, Pointe-au-Chêne sector
Mission
The mission of the Fire Safety Department is to prevent loss of life and injury, minimize property damage and ensure a safe environment through intervention, prevention and training programs that meet the highest standards.
