The Crown corporation Alto will hold a public consultation on the high-speed rail (HSR) project connecting Toronto to Quebec City. Supported by the federal government, this national project is expected to cross the territory of the Argenteuil RCM and possibly Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, according to preliminary plans.
A public consultation will be held in Brownsburg-Chatham on January 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Louis-Renaud Community Center, located at 270 Route du Canton.
