Bids and Tenders

The Municipality of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge meets its obligations with regards to the awarding of all contracts for supplies, goods, services, procurement, and/or construction work, as established by legislative and regulatory provisions.

In accordance with the Quebec Municipal Code (C-27.1), the Municipality may proceed with a written call for tenders for expenditures between $25,000 and $133,000, or with a request for public tenders for all contracts over $133,000.

In accordance with its contract management by-law, the Municipality stipulates that all contracts with a minimum value of $25,000 (including taxes), but below the threshold requiring a public call for tenders, must be awarded by mutual agreement, unless otherwise authorized by the Director General in writing. This authorization is detailed in Appendix 1, attached to a proposal to the Board to be adopted at a public meeting.
