Council Meetings
Council is legally required to meet at least once a month. The regular meeting schedule is established and published at the beginning of each calendar year. In Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month.
The Council may also hold special meetings, in addition to regular meetings, to address urgent matters.
Council meetings are open to the public. Citizens may question Council members during two question periods during the session. A set of rules governs the functioning of council meetings and citizen participation, to ensure a certain decorum while encouraging courteous, respectful discussions.
